Throw off the shackles, Premiere of the song

On July 5, the premiere of our song "Throw off the shackles" took place.

 

Work on the song began 2 years ago, when Hanna was visiting Donbas. As the author herself says, she was struck by the fact that people do not understand obvious things, that they meekly believe in all the nonsense imposed on them by propaganda, such an impression that these people have a veil over their eyes, otherwise it is impossible to explain their blind faith in some illusory ideas, because everything around was dying (despite the loud headlines from the newspapers about the great successes of the so-called republic). All this greatly impressed Anna, because this is her homeland, where most of the family remained.

 

After returning to Poland, Hanna invited her friend, the rapper Ex-El (Artem Letunovskyi), to take part in the creation of the song - that's how the rap fragment appeared. The recordings took place at the Tall Pine Records studio in Gdańsk. Artem wrote the second rap fragment after the start of the war, and this is the version we present to you now. On the recording you can hear the guitar of our friend, the talented guitarist Tomasz Milewski, who lives in London, but occasionally visits Gdansk and collaborates with us.
